Prof Jake Shortt is director of Clinical Haematology at Monash Health. He is co-appointed to Monash University as the Head of Haematology Research and is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Melbourne in the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Medical Oncology. As an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow, his research activities extend from preclinical target identification and drug development to early and late phase clinical trials. Prof Shortt has acted as the CML lead at Monash Health since 2011, serving as a PI on the Novartis-sponsored (ENESTxtnd, ENESTswift) and ALLG CML11 (PINNACLE), CML12 (DIRECT) and CML13 (ASCEND) trials.
